Last year we were contacted by a number of charities who work with Autistic people and they told us that sometimes a shopping centre can be a scary place with all of the noise, rushing and groups of people. This is where the quiet shopping event came into play and last November we had our first.
After a great response from charities, families and the general public we are having another. This time we are also partnering with local dementia & alzheimer's charities to open this event to all who need it.
On Thursday 29th March from 5pm all of the Centres stores will turn off their music and the musical clock and tannoy announcements will be turned off also. On top of this, numerous charities will be in the centre to raise awareness of their work and offer any help they can.
We hope to see you there!
